I happen to make them for New Years Eve, but I make them just as easily for a Football Afternoon!

I have included a link to a Great recipe by "Elise" over at "Simple Recipes"
Elise is a wonderful resource for a go-to Portuguese or Brazilian recipe!
She has saved me many many times.
I simply enveloped these beautiful little buns with bacon and baked them off.
Oh Boy! What a treat!
Here's the Recipe:

Grab a bag of "Pão de Queijo" in your local grocer's freezer
Or grab the recipe here: Elise at Simple Recipes
Keep them frozen.
Preheat your oven to 350
Line a baking sheet with Parchment.
Wrap each frozen "Dough Ball" with a 1/2 slice of Bacon. (not thick sliced)
Place each ball seam side down on the parchment and bake for 35-40 minutes or until bacon is crisp and the little dough ball is light golden brown.
Serve immediately. Best served hot out of the oven :)
