Homemade Fritos Corn Chips, Food Hacks

As Food Hacks are concerned, these came out Fantastic!!! Think about all the ways You can customize your own Corn Chips! This recipe so lends to that kind of versatility! I loved it! I added Garlic and Siracha to the masa "dough", then fresh out of the oven, I sprinkled with Crushed Red Pepper and Sea Salt! Wow!! Here's a Photo and the Recipe Link Enjoy!

I have to admit, I had never thought of making my own corn chips before this recipe but I will be doing it, all the time now!! I bet you will be too!
Enjoy!! GRAB THE RECIPE

  2. When I saw the post, my logical brain immediately clicked... "why would you make corn chips? They're $.50 a bag at the Quickymart" Then... I read through the recipe. My head is burning with flavor enhancements to add and things to do with the freshly made chips... I can't wait :)

Toby: Mine kinda said the same thing...but like you I so love the versatility...When I was eating them with my lunch I thought of all of the "popcorn" flavorings..that could be sprinkled on top when their fresh out of the oven...White Cheddar, Nacho cheese..etc...Wow! So glad we inspired you too!!

  9. Thanks so much all! Hope you all try out the recipe. I loved them. When I make them again, I'll be lowering the amount of flour and increase the amount of corn meal..I would like more texture. But all in all the recipe is delicious! Enjoy!
