Its been awhile since I had this.Yours look delicious.I came across your site from the foodieblogroll and I'd love to guide Foodista readers to your site. I hope you could add this cabbage rolls widget at the end of this post so we could add you in our list of food bloggers who blogged about cabbage rolls,Thanks!
Hi Laurie-Thank you for your kind comment on my blog re: the stuffed cabbage. I love the sweet and sour version, like yours, as well. I also make them this way once in a while, and use brown sugar and tomato sauce. So good, and better reheated the next day! The old fashioned recipes never go out of style. I see that you are also from S. Florida. I know Doris' Market real well! I go all the way to Delray Beach from WPB to get my specialty meats. BTW-I'd like to stay in touch with you, and I'm following your blog...welcome to do the same!
Hi Laurie, These have been on my mind for a while now that the cool weather is coming up. Mine is similar except for the sauce. We should have a galumpki contest!!!
We have same dish in Lithuania :) its one of my favourites
ReplyDeleteMedeja, was the recipe similar to yours? It's one of my fav's now too.
ReplyDeleteThese are so on my list of things to make...plus I adore the name galumpkis...cause I'm kind of silly like that. Lovely job.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much Briarrose! I hope you love the outcome as much as I did!
